The petitioner claims to be one of the occupants of the building. The petitioner fairly submits that he cannot resist the demolition order as an occupier of the building. However, he prays for a breathing time to relocate himself to any other accommodation. In that view of the matter, I restrain the Corporation from proceeding with the demolition work for a period of four months from date.

It is made clear that after the expiry of four months, the Corporation shall be at liberty to proceed with the demolition work.

Accordingly, WPA 1076 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties on compliance of usual legal formalities.
