Mrs. Nandini Mitra Mr. Achin Jana ...for the respondent no.5 The grievance of the petitioner pertains to the failure on the part of the respondent/CESC Limited to provide a new electricity connection at the premises of the petitioner. The Calcutta Electricity Supply Corporation Limited is represented and submits that this is the second attempt on the part of the petitioner. He submits that as far back as in 2019 the petitioner had filed an application which was dismissed by this Court. It is fairly submitted by the Advocate appearing on behalf of the CESC Limited that this matter may be send to the Commercial Manager, CESC Limited for redressal of the grievance of the petitioner.

In view of the above submission made by the Advocate appearing on behalf of the CESC Limited the grievance of the petitioner for new electricity connection be send to the respondent no. 3 who is directed to consider and dispose of the claim of the petitioner for new electricity connection within a period of four weeks from the date of communication of this order and after giving an opportunity of hearing to all the affected parties.

With the aforesaid directions, WPA No. 1233 of 2021 stands disposed of.
