The petitioner is working as an Assistant Teacher in Geography in Banipur Baniniketan Girls' High School, District: 24 Parganas (North).

The petitioner is praying for higher pay scale as she has improved her educational qualification on the relevant subject.

Mr. Chattopadhyay, learned Senior Government Advocate for the State, submits that the District Inspector of Schools (SE), District: 24 Parganas (North), the respondent no. 3, herein is considering the prayer of the petitioner.

The prayer of the petitioner under such circumstances is pre-matured.

However, the respondent no. 3 is directed to dispose of the said prayer of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible in accordance with law. WPA 1029 of 2023 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
