1. Affidavits-of-service filed in Court are taken on record.

2. The issue raised in both these writ petitions are common and identical. Hence, both these writ petitions are taken up for hearing analogously.

3. The petitioners seek for issuance of writ of mandamus to forthwith cancel, rescind and/or withdraw the finally sanctioned list deleting and excluding the names of bonafide persons of Daldali Gram Panchayat and prepare a fresh final list incorporating the names of land owners, cultivators and bonafide persons and to make an independent enquiry headed by the District Magistrate, Purulia.

4. Learned government counsel has placed before us a written instruction given by the Block Development Officer, Hura Development Block.

5. From the written instruction filed in in WPA(P) 13 of 2025 it is seen that the petitioners no.1 to 4 have already existing pucca house, petitioner nos.2 and 5 have already been benefited by other housing scheme and the petitioner no.3 has been listed as eligible beneficiary in Permanent Waiting List under Banglar Bari (G) scheme. Thus, it is seen that in both these writ petitions the petitioners are interested persons and the question of entertaining public interest litigation would not arise. However, if the petitioners are otherwise personally aggrieved by any action of the authority, it will be open to the petitioners to approach the appropriate forum in accordance with law.
