The petitioner is aggrieved that the Phoolbagan Police Station has not registered FIR in respect of a complaint.

She has complained to the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata, District Magistrate and other authorities.

4.

The petitioner's husband was seriously injured in a road traffic accident.

5.

It appears from the records that on the orders of the ACJM concerned, Phoolbagan Police Station has registered FIR No. 8 dated January 8, 2022 in respect of the same incident.

In the event, the police have not registered any complaint, the remedy available to the petitioner is under Section 156(3) of the Cr. P.C.

7.

Reserving rights to the petitioner as indicated hereinabove, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

8.

There shall be no order as to costs.

9.

The petitioner shall communicate a copy of this order to the private respondents and the Phoolbagan Police Station.

10.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
