Learned advocate for the petitioner challenges the order dated 29.11.2023 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 3rd Court, Barrackpore in M. Case No.779 of 2021. I find from the impugned order which was passed under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, an interim maintenance was granted to the daughter to the tune of Rs.3,000/- per month.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the daughter is adult and she is herself earning. To that effect, the petitioner intends to adduce evidence.

Petitioner would be at liberty to adduce such evidence in course of the trial. Learned trial court would fix at least one date in a month for the purposes of the present case so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.

With the aforesaid observations, CRR 189 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.
