The petitioner is aggrieved that his application for grant of an arms licence has been declined without reasons by the Office of the Assistant Commissioner of Police, Kolkata.

The report of the police indicates that the petitioner did not produce any documents showing that he was trained to handle the arms and weapons. In the above circumstances, no relief can be granted to the petitioner in this writ petition. The instant writ petition must fail and is hereby dismissed.

There will be no order as to costs.
