Heard learned counsels for the parties.

It is not in dispute that the plots in question were acquired vide L.A. Case No.4/24/2010-11 dated 30th November, 2010 and the petitioners have been declared as non-verified awardees for consideration for payment of compensation.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submit that the petitioners seek to receive the amount of compensation decided by the authority in their favour and have submitted an application to that effect before the concerned authority on 16th December, 2022.

It is submitted on behalf of the State respondents that the 4th respondent be directed to deal with the

application of the petitioners and take necessary steps accordingly.

In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of directing the 4th respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioners dated 16th December, 2022 and take necessary steps for disbursement of compensation in their favour upon the petitioners submitting necessary documents in support of their respective claims.

The entire exercise should be completed within a period of two months from the date of communication of this order after affording reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioners, in accordance with law.

With the above observations and directions this writ petition being WPA 1045 of 2023 is disposed of. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Since no affidavit is invited, the allegations contained in the petition are deemed not to be admitted. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
