1. In this writ petition the order dated 11th June, 2024 as passed in MA. 310 of 2018 (OA 2173 of 2017), LRTT by the West Bengal Land Reforms and Tenancy Tribunal, 4th Bench (hereinafter referred to, as the said 'Tribunal' in short) is impugned.

2. At the time of hearing learned advocate for the writ petitioner submits before this Court that the instant writ petition may be disposed of by allowing the prayer B of the instant writ petition, that is, directing the said Tribunal to dispose of MA No. 310 of 2018 within a specified time.

3. Learned advocate for the state submits before this Court that no such order need be passed since the said Tribunal has already fixed 19th March, 2025 for hearing for MA No. 310 of 2018, which is, an application for condonation of delay as filed by the original applicant.

4. It is, however, pertinent to mention herein that the learned advocate for the State could not appraise this Court as to whether on behalf of the State respondents any affidavitin-opposition has been filed against the said MA No. 310 of 2018 before the said Tribunal.

5. On careful consideration of the entire materials as placed for this Court, we find that the learned Tribunal has already fixed MA no. 310 of 2018, that is, the application for condonation of delay on 19th March, 2025 for hearing.

6. Such being the position we find no reason to pass any order for preponing the date of hearing of the said matter since the matter has already been fixed on 19th March, 2025, that is, just almost after a month from today.

7. In view thereof, no interference is called for from our end.

8. With the above mentioned observation the instant writ petition is disposed of.

9. There shall, however, be no order as to costs. 10.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied as expeditiously as possible.
