Mr. Dutta, leaned advocate for the State, submits that on the complaint lodged by the petitioner, an investigation was initiated upon registration of an FIR vide Haripal PS Case No. 109/21 dated May 30, 2021. The said investigation has resulted in the filing of a charge-sheet. He further submits that pursuant to the subsequent complaint of the petitioner a General Diary has been registered dated December 30, 2021.

The petitioners pray that the order of status quo passed by the learned civil court must be complied with and the police authorities must implement such order.

The petitioner has also filed an application before the civil court for necessary orders, alleging violation of the order of ad interim injunction. It is submitted from the bar that the said application is pending, but the commissioner's report pursuant to the direction of the learned civil court has been filed. Under such circumstances, the police authorities who have already registered a General Diary shall ensure that the order of status quo is not violated and the parties maintain law and order. The other prayers of the petitioner which are available in the suit are kept open for decision of the learned civil court.

The writ petition is disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
