The petitioners are the participants in the NEET-UG of 2025.

The petitioners are aggrieved that they have not been allotted seat in the MBBS course.

Ms. Ghosh appearing for the respondent No.3 and Mr. Roy appearing for the respondent No.7 submit that the petitioners had not taken part in any of the counseling rounds. Thus, the question of the petitioners being allotted a seat does not arise.

Mr. Chowdhury appearing for the petitioners is unable to show any document or make any submission in respect of the petitioners' participation in the counseling rounds to augment the pleadings and the documents in the petition.

6. In view of the aforestated, it is quite clear that the petitioners had not participated in the counseling rounds and their prayer cannot be allowed at this stage. 7.

Thus, the writ petition fails and is accordingly dismissed.

8. Since affidavits have not been called for, allegations contained in the petition are deemed to have been denied.

9. There shall be no order as to costs.

10. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertaking. (Reetobroto Kumar Mitra, J.)
