They pray for a direction for regularisation of their service in the Gram Panchayat/Zilla Parishad.

There is nothing on record to suggest that the petitioners were engaged by the Zilla Parishad to perform any work. On the contrary, it appears that the petitioners are working under a contractor who is engaged with the Zilla Parishad. The prayer for regularisation in the office of the Zilla Parishad cannot be accepted by the court.

The writ petition is misconceived and is hereby dismissed. The petitioners are at liberty to approach the appropriate forum for their remedy.

Urgent certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
