Heard the learned Advocates for the parties.

We have considered the materials on record.

Petitioner had absconded for 16 years. After his arrest trial commenced. 12 witnesses have been examined.

In view of conduct of the petitioner and as there is high possibility of abscondence, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of petitioner is rejected.
