As none appears on behalf of the State, Mr. Nikhil Kumar Gupta, learned advocate, who ordinarily appears for the State, is directed to represent the State. His appointment may be regularised by the concerned authorities.

Petitioner has preferred this writ petition as the representation dated 04.12.2024 was not considered by the Officer-in-Charge, Liluah Police Station as well as the superior officers of police and the administration. Petitioner complains that she has been thrown out of her own flat and the same has been forcefully occupied. Petitioner prayed before the police authorities to take steps against the private respondents.

Having considered that the said representation was submitted on 04.12.2024, if till date the petitioner is facing the same inconvenience, petitioner would file an application under Section 175(3) of BNSS, 2023 before the jurisdictional Magistrate. Learned Magistrate would assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition being WPA 1236 of 2025 is disposed of. Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
