1. By this public interest writ petition the petitioners allege that there is financial misappropriation in the 6th respondent/Panchayat.

2. On going through the annexures we find that there are a few mass petitions filed, but those mass petitions are not specific and appear to be vague.

3. Therefore, we dispose of this writ petition granting liberty to the petitioners to file a fresh representation before the jurisdictional Block Development Officer. We are unable to issue specific direction since the officer has not been made as a respondent in the writ petition.

4. However, we grant liberty to the petitioners to submit a comprehensive representation to the jurisdictional Block Development Officer along with supportive documents as well as the copy of this order and on receipt of the same, the Block Development

Officer shall enquire into the matter after notice to all concerned and proceed to take action in accordance with law by passing a reasoned order.

5. This direction be complied with within a period of 12 weeks from the date on which the fresh representation is given.

6. The learned Government counsel is requested to communicate the copy of this order to the jurisdictional Block Development Officer.

7. With the above observations, the writ petition stands disposed of.
