The police report is taken on record. It appears that the police authorities visited the office of the petitioners situated at 42, Bon Behari Bose Road, Police Station-Howrah on several occasions, but the office was found to be under lock and key. However, some documents have already been collected for the investigation. It also appears that a complaint was lodged by the Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation against Shri Vijay Kumar Choraria that is, the petitioner No.2, with regard to the breach of the terms and conditions of a tendering process, by creation of fake and forged documents.

Without going into the merits of the allegations and counter-allegations, this Court is of the view that the police authorities are duty bound to complete both the

investigations, in accordance with law. The complaints shall be reached to their logical conclusion, expeditiously. All necessary steps as required by law, must be taken. The writ petition is, thus, disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All parties are to act on the basis of the server copy of this order.
