1. Learned counsel for the petitioner points out that the application under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 taken out by the petitioner-Bank is pending for an inordinate period, beyond the statutory outer limit.

2. Affidavit-of-service filed today be kept on record. Despite service, none appears for the borrower at the time of call.

3. Accordingly, WPA No. 1024 of 2024 is disposed of by directing the respondent no.2, that is, the District Magistrate, Nadia to dispose of the application filed by the petitioner under Section 14 of the SARFAESI Act, 2002 as expeditiously as possible, positively within three weeks from the date of communication of this order to the respondent no.2, by acting on a server copy of this order.

4. There will be no order as to costs.

5. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be made available to the parties upon compliance with the requisite formalities.
