Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner is in custody for 1 year and 7 months. Most of the witnesses have not supported the case of the prosecution. State, on the other hand draws the attention of the Court that some of the eye witnesses are yet to be examined. Having considered the manner in which the deceased succumbed to the injuries, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for releasing the petitioner on bail at the midst of the trial. Accordingly, CRM (M) 183 of 2026 is dismissed. Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.
