A joint compromise petition was filed by the both the parties since the matter has been settled amicably and the opposite party no.2 is presently residing with her in-laws and husband at the matrimonial house.

In terms of such compromise, a report was called for from the State and the report furnished today along with statement recorded in respect of de facto complainant/victim also manifests that there has been amicably settlement and she is living with her in-laws at the matrimonial house.

In view of the above settlement arrived at between the parties, the possibilities of passing order of conviction become remote and bleak.

Therefore, prayer made by both the petitioners stands allowed.

The instant revisional application stands disposed of and the proceeding pending against the present petitioners before the learned Trial Court is hereby quashed in view of the settlement arrived at.
