The name of the petitioner features in the statement of the eye-witness as recorded under Section 161 of the Code. Considering the nature of accusations, the nature of injury and the extent of complicity of the petitioner in the alleged offence, we are not inclined to exercise any discretion in his favour and as such, the prayer for anticipatory bail is refused. The application for anticipatory bail being C.R.M.(A) 291 of 2022 is dismissed.
