Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated.
Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that the victim suffered gun shot injury on the face. The petitioner stands implicated on the basis of the statement of eye-witnesses recorded under Section 161 of the Criminal Procedure Code. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein as transpiring from the materials available in the case diary, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM(A) 290 of 2022 is dismissed.
