Petitioner is a lady. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioner victim had criminal antecedents. A number of persons have been named in the FIR. No specific overt act has been attributed to the petitioner. Accordingly, she prays for anticipatory bail. 2.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the prayer for anticipatory bail.

We have considered the materials on record. Statements of witnesses disclose presence of the petitioner as a member of the unlawful assembly. It is also alleged petitioner and others had chased the victim and assaulted him. In view of the nature of crime and prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to her.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner stands rejected.
