As indicated in the order passed by this Court on 7th February, 2023, the petitioner is already before a civil Court and is protected by an order of status quo. The submission of the private respondents, who claim to be the petitioners in the Public Interest Litigation filed before the Division Bench, is that the protection is restricted to a particular plot of land.

Hence, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition, which is accordingly dismissed without any order as to costs.
