Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that, the petitioner is in custody for 231 days. The police filed charge-sheet and, therefore, further detention of the petitioner is not required. He submits that, there is no material implicating the petitioner.

Learned advocate appearing for the State submits that, the murder weapon was recovered from the bed room belonging to the petitioner. He draws the attention of the Court to the seizure list.

Considering the gravity of the offence and considering the involvement of the petitioner as it transpires from the materials in the case diary, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (DB) 178 of 2022 is dismissed. (Debangsu Basak, J.) (Bibhas Ranjan De, J.)
