2025-01-29Hon'Ble Justice Tirthankar Ghosh2 pages

29.01.2025 W.P.A. 1235 of 2025 Item No.82 Ct. No.35 dc.

Satadal Sikdar versus The State of West Bengal & Ors.

Mr. Sajal Kanti Bhattacharyya, Mr. Sankar Halder, Mr. Sarthak Burman ... For the Petitioner.

Mr. Suman Ghosh, Mr. Sankha Prasad Ray ... For the State.

Mr. Sanjib Kumar Mukhopadhyay, Ms. Prama Ray, Ms. Nargish Parveen, Ms. Saheli Biswas ... For the Respondent Nos.7, 8 & 9. Affidavit-of-service filed in Court today be kept with the record.

Report submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be also kept with the record. Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that there are changed circumstances under which by interference of the police authorities, the issues canvassed in the writ petition have been solved.

Learned advocate appearing for the private respondent nos. 7, 8 and 9 raises objection regarding the contents of the writ petition and also raises issues in respect of certain documents. Be that as it may, since the petitioner himself is not interested to canvass the issues in the writ petition on merits, I am of the view that no interference is called for by this Court.

Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 1235 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
