Mr. Ashim Kr. Ganguly Mr. Tarak Karan ... for the State Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that they are being restrained from cultivating their own land. The petitioners claim that the land was their own. But there has been interference by the administration.

A representation was made by petitioners that both the administration and the police authorities have been interfering and accusations have been made.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

He submits that since this is a dispute relating to land, police authorities have no scope for interference.

In view of the nature of the accusations made which are vague, I direct the police authorities if there is any dispute between the petitioners or any other private person, the

concerned Inspector-in-Charge would ensure that there is no breach of peace and tranquility and any untoward incident arises because of the dispute relating to the land in question.

With the aforesaid observation, WPA No.

1336 of 2025 is disposed of.

All the parties shall act on the basis of the server copy of the order.

Urgent photostat certified copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon usual undertakings.
