Learned advocate for the State files the report dated February 6, 2025 of the District Inspector of Schools (PE), 24Parganas(South), the respondent no.4 herein; let it be kept with the record.

It appears from the said report that said respondent no.4, in compliance with the direction of this Court dated January 21, 2025, had calculated an amount which is required to be refunded by the petitioner to the concerned Government account to get the benefit of pension.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the said amount has not yet deposited.

The petitioner is directed to deposit the said amount within a period of four weeks from date. Upon deposit of the said amount, the respondent no.4 shall prepare the pension papers of the petitioner expeditiously, preferably within a period of four weeks from date of communication of this order, and thereafter shall send the same to the Director of Pension, Provident Fund and Group Insurance, Government of West Bengal, the respondent no.3 herein who shall within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of the pension papers, shall take forward steps for issuance of necessary Pension Payment Order in favour of the petitioner in accordance with law.

It is needless to mention that the arrear pension shall be calculated from the date following the date of retirement. WPA 1221 of 2025 is disposed of with the above terms without any order as to costs.
