Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has been facing the trial and is in custody for more than 3 years 7 months and in the meantime 11 witnesses have already been examined out of 30 witnesses cited by the prosecution. It has also been submitted that the present accused is deaf and dump.

I have taken into account the evidence which has been emphasized by the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner. Prima facie, I find that the chain established by the prosecution at this stage is sufficient.

Learned advocate for the State is present.

I have taken into account overall materials also and on

as assessment of the same, I am of the view that this is not a fit case for granting bail.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner in CRM(M)203 of 2026 is rejected.
