Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are not cooperating with him. At the invitation of the petitioners, we adjourned the matter on February 21, 2024 to explore the possibility of settlement. Petitioners never attempted any settlement since the last order.

Apparently, the petitioners set up the ruse of settlement in order to obtain favourable orders from the Court. Materials in the case diary suggest requirement of investigation.

Enlarging the petitioners on anticipatory bail will be inimical to such investigation.

Consequently, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

Accordingly, the prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioners is rejected.
