The affidavit of service and the written instructions handed up on behalf of the State are taken on record. After hearing learned counsel, it appears that dispute in relation to holding the amount by the respondent authorities which is due to be refunded to the petitioner, can be sorted out by directing the District Sub-Registrar-I, Purba Midnapore, to consider the claim for refund subject to the petitioner handing over documents as may be required by the administration. The respondent no.4 being the District SubRegistrar-I, Purba Medinipur, will accordingly inform the petitioner of the required documents within 48 hours from today. The respondent no.4 will thereafter meet the petitioner within a period of ten days from today to consider the claim for refund. The money will be refunded to the petitioner subject to fulfilment of the applicable conditions within four weeks from date. W.P.A.1027 of 2022 is disposed of in terms of the above.
