These two revisional applications have been filed for a direction upon the learned court below to dispose of the M.A.C.C. Case No.25 of 2010 and M.A.C.C. Case No.20 of 2012, pending before the learned Additional District Judge, 4th Court at Alipore, expeditiously and analogously in terms of the order dated June 27, 2014, passed in MACC 25 of 2010 wherein there was a direction by the learned court that both the matters would be heard analogously as the death of both the victims occurred in one and the same accident. It is submitted that in the said cases the evidence of P.W.1 has been completed. It is further submitted that as the matters relate to death compensation, the learned court below should be directed to hear out, conclude and dispose of the M.A.C.C. Case No.25 of 2010 along with M.A.C.C. Case No.20 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible and analogously as directed by the learned court by the order dated June 27, 2014.

I have not gone into the merits of the case of the parties and have not made any observations with regard to the claims of the petitioner. However, as the matters relate to death compensation on account of a motor accident of 2005, justice would be sub-served if the learned court below is directed to dispose of the M.A.C.C. Case No.25 of 2010 and M.A.C.C. Case No.20 of 2012 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of six months from the next date fixed.

Petitioner is directed to serve copies of this revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite parties as also their learned advocate appearing in the learned court below within a week.

Both the revisional applications are disposed of. There will be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent Photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on priority basis. (Shampa Sarkar, J.)
