Report dated 22.02.2024 submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. The said report is enclosed with a communication made by Baisakhi Bag as also a statement of Baisakhi Bag recorded by the concerned police officer associated with Ghola Police Station. The records of the case reflect that Ghola Police Station Case No. 444 dated 25.07.2022 was registered for investigation under Sections 498A/406/506/509/34 of the Indian Penal Code and on completion of investigation, chargesheet was submitted before the jurisdictional court. As the report reflects that there has been amicable settlement between the parties and the parties are residing together as such, in the larger interest of the society, I am of the view that further continuance of the criminal proceedings may have adverse effect.

Accordingly, all further proceedings of Ghola Police Station Case No. 444 dated 25.07.2022 under Sections 498A/406/506/509/34 of the Indian Penal Code including the charge-sheet submitted therein which is pending before

the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Barrackpore are hereby quashed.

The revisional application being CRR 209 of 2024 is, thus, allowed.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
