Apparently, petitioner acted as an export consultant. Materials in the case diary suggest that the petitioner was assisting the de facto complainant with regard to electronic compliance of export polices. Apparently, the mobile phone number was changed so that the one time password (OTP) generated comes to the petitioner.

Police complaint makes out a case for investigation. Involvement of the petitioner in the incident requires investigation.

Enlarging the petitioner on anticipatory bail at this stage will be inimical to the investigation.

In such circumstances, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 167 of 2024 is dismissed.
