The progress report reflects that chemical examiner's report along with supplementary charge-sheet has been submitted before the ld. Jurisdictional special court and the next date has been fixed by the ld. Special Court on 21st of March, 2024.
The ld.
Special Court is directed, in this circumstances, to consider the charges and conclude the said process within a month from 21st of March, 2024. Thereafter, the ld. Court would fix a schedule consisting of three dates and fix such schedule once in every 75 days so that the trial of the case can be taken to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time.
No unnecessary adjournment be granted to any of the parties.
In case, any witness is absent, the Superintendent of Police of the concerned district be informed for ensuring the availability of the witness. The office of the Superintendent of Police will submit a report, in case any witness is absent and the reasons for the absence.
The ld. Public Prosecutor conducting the case will produce the materials, exhibits and documents on the date so fixed for examination of the witness concerned. All stakeholders would cooperate with the ld. Trial court to conclude the trial at the earliest.
With the aforesaid observations, CRR 214 of 2024 is disposed of.
Pending application, if any, is also disposed of. Report so submitted be kept with the record.
