It appears that the petitioner had approached the Central Consumer Grievance Redressal Cell with a similar grievance. By an order dated October 29, 2024, the Central Consumer Grievance Redressal Cell directed the petitioner to approach the relevant Grievance Redressal Officer.

Learned counsel for the petitioner has produced a letter dated November 18, 2024, by which the petitioner approached the Grievance Redressal Officer, CESC Limited. It is submitted that the petitioner's representation, dated November 18, 2024, has not yet been disposed of by the Grievance Redressal Officer. In light of the above, I do not find any justification for keeping this writ petition pending.

Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Grievance Redressal Officer, CESC Limited, Central Regional Office, to dispose of the petitioner's representation dated November 18, 2024, within one month from the date of communication of this order. The Grievance Redressal Officer shall afford the petitioner an opportunity to be heard in deciding the matter.

Accordingly, WPA 1369 of 2025 is disposed of Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
