A report has been filed by the Howrah Municipal Corporation.

It appears therefrom that in respect of premises no.85/4, Brindabon Mullick Lane, Howrah-711 101, Ward No.43, there is indeed unauthorised construction which extends to approximately 25% in the ground floor as well as the first floor.

The Howrah Municipal Corporation has passed an order of demolition on 29th September, 2022. The Howrah Municipal Corporation is directed to take steps in accordance with law.

The grievance of the petitioner has been redressed by the Howrah Municipal Corporation. No further order is required to be passed in the present writ petition.

The report filed by the Howrah Municipal Corporation dated 20th September, 2022 be retained with the records.

Writ petition along with connected application being IA No.: CAN 1 of 2022 stand disposed of. The department is directed to transmit the record of IA No.: CAN 1 of 2022 so that the same may be tagged with the present file.
