The petitioner is complaining delay in disbursement of the amount of compensation awarded in his favour in L.A. Case No. NH - 01 of 16-17.

It appears from the record that the petitioner has already furnished bank account in which the said amount was instructed to be disbursed.

In view of such position of the matter, the Special Land Acquisition Officer, Paschim Medinipur, the respondent no. 8 herein is directed to disburse the compensation amount awarded in favour of the petitioner in the aforementioned land acquisition case in accordance with law. Since no affidavit-in-opposition has been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied by the respondents.

W.P.A. 1392 of 2021 is disposed of with the above observation without any order as to costs.
