1. Affidavit of service and supplementary affidavit filed on behalf of the petitioner be kept with the record.

2. Petitioner's main grievance was in respect of the information dated 19.12.2024 addressed to the Officer-in-Charge, Haridevpur PS-not being acted upon.

3. State has submitted a report which reflects that Haridevpur PS case no. 35 dated 16.1.2025 has been registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of law.

4. Having considered the fact that the police authorities have already taken steps, petitioner be well advised to approach the jurisdictional magistrate for addressing the grievance, in case there are materials in possession of the petitioner to show that the police authorities

have not preformed their duties in consonance with the statute.

5. With the aforesaid observation WPA 1330 of 2025 is disposed of.

6. Report submitted be kept with the record.

7. Copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate appearing for the petitioner.

8. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Urgent Photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
