The writ petitioner is aggrieved by alleged inaction on the part of the Kotalpur Police Station in investigating a complaint as regards the death of the petitioner's minor daughter. It is submitted that the original complaint of the writ petitioner filed on 01.01.2022 was ignored and a manufactured complaint was created and acted upon.

Counsel for the State submits that the above allegations of inaction are wholly incorrect.

Investigation has nearly been completed and charge sheet is most likely to be filed today.

This Court directs the Investigating Officer in the concerned FIR to consider the petitioner's complaint at page 12 of the writ petition and if necessary, conduct further investigation and file supplementary charge sheet.

This Court has not entertained the allegation of the petitioner that the original complaint was manufactured by the Police.

In the event the petitioner requests the Kotalpur Police Station for protection, the same shall be considered in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, the writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
