Petitioner complains that in spite of informing the Officer-in-Charge, Bhangar Police Station, no steps were taken. The main allegation of the petitioner is that record of rights which were recorded in the name of his mother has been fraudulently changed by the private respondent no.5 by way of preparing and/or manufacturing fake documents. Petitioner submits that the information was sent by speed post on or about 08.11.2023 to the Officer-in-Charge, Bhangar Police Station, but till date no steps have been taken.

Petitioner is directed to serve upon the Deputy Commissioner of Police/Commissioner of Police, Kolkata Police and if no response is received within a period of 15 days, petitioner would approach the jurisdictional Magistrate under Section 175(3) of

the BNSS. Learned Magistrate would assess and ascertain regarding the genuinity of the allegations and thereafter pass necessary directions as he deems fit and proper.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 1337 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
