The petitioner is aggrieved that the private respondents have forcefully occupied his land and have effected construction thereat.

This Court is of the view that the petitioner may avail civil remedy against the private respondents in this regard. Police have no role to play.

The Officer-in-charge, Jangipara Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area.

With the aforesaid directions, the instant writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
