1. Learned advocate representing the petitioner submits that, despite completion of work in terms of the work order issued by WBSEDCL, payment has not been released in its favour. A representation was filed by the petitioner before the authority, but the same is yet to be disposed of.

2. Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioner, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Divisional Engineer and Divisional Manager, Raghunathganj Distribution Division, respondent no. 7 herein to consider and dispose of the representation filed by the petitioner, in accordance with law after giving a reasonable opportunity of hearing to the petitioner to produce all documents in support of completion of work. A decision shall be taken in the matter at the earliest, but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

3. If any amount is found due and payable, the same shall be released in favour of the petitioner at the earliest.

4. Learned advocate for the petitioner is directed to forward a copy of the representation made by the petitioner along with all supporting documents to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of this Court.

5. The writ petition stands disposed of.

6. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of requisite formalities.
