The petitioner preferred the instant writ Court No. 35 20.06.2024 (Item No. 32) subha petition being aggrieved by inaction of the police authorities associated with Kotwali Police Station, Nadia.

I have considered the representation made before the SDO, Krishnangar, Nadia as well as the DSP, Krishnangar, Nadia. The contents of the application relate to private disputes. The said information was received by the concerned authorities on 2nd January, 2009.

Having considered the allegations made in the said representation and communications so enclosed, I am of the view that as more than 15 years have passed, the police authorities cannot be compelled to take any action. Petitioner would be at liberty to ventilate his grievance by approaching the appropriate court of law in respect of the remedies prayed for. Accordingly, the writ petition being WPA 8 of 2009 is disposed of.

Connected applications, if any, are consequently disposed of.

All parties shall act in terms of the copy of this order downloaded from the official website of High Court, Calcutta.
