This revisional application has been filed for expeditious disposal of the Title Suit No.187 of 2017 pending before the learned Civil Judge (Junior Division), 1st Court at the District Court, Paschim Medinipur.

Petitioner is the husband and he has filed the suit for dissolution of marriage. The petitioner relies on an order dated December 5, 2005 passed by this court directing the expeditious hearing of the title suit. It appears that the order of the High Court was communicated to the learned court below. The plaintiff himself delayed the matter as would appear from the record.

In any event, during the pandemic situation, the court could not function and court cannot be blamed. The revisional application is disposed of with a request upon the learned court below to dispose of the Title Suit No. 187 of 2017 as expeditiously as possible, unless the learned court below is prevented by any reason beyond his control from disposing of the same.

The learned court below will proceed independently without being influenced by any observations made hereinabove.

Petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this revisional application along with a server copy of this order upon the opposite party within a week from date. The revisional application is disposed of.

There will be no order as to cost.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all formalities.
