Petitioner is a single teacher in the subject in her school and she has applied for transfer on general ground. Subsequently, writ petition being WPA 23500 of 2024 was filed and same was disposed of vide order dated 30th September, 2024 directing the District Inspector of Schools (SE), North 24 Parganas, to take steps in terms of Government notification dated 3rd January, for making alternative arrangement in the school where petitioner is presently working to facilitate her transfer. In terms of order dated 30th September, 2024 passed in WPA 23500 of 2024, the concerned
District Inspector of Schools being respondent no. 4 issued memo dated 24th October, 2024 to four schools in pursuit of finding willing teacher who can man the post of the petitioner after her transfer. But from the memo dated 2nd December, 2024 issued by the respondent no. 4 it appears that no willing teacher was found. Petitioner in the present writ petition has prayed for making local arrangement in her school for her transfer.
On perusal of memo dated 2nd December, 2024, it appears that respondent no. 4 has taken steps to find out willing teacher but no positive response was received from the four schools where memo dated 24th October, 2024 was sent.
Since steps have already been taken by respondent no. 4, no further order need be passed on this writ petition excepting a direction upon the respondent no. 4 to continue to make endeavour to find out willing teacher and in the event such teacher is made available steps shall be taken in accordance with law for transferring the petitioner upon making local arrangement in petitioner's school.
The writ petition stands disposed of, without any order as to costs.
