1. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits he is in custody for seven months. It is also submitted he has been falsely implicated. Accordingly, he prays for bail.

2. Learned Counsel for the State opposes the bail prayer.

3. We have considered the materials on record. 300 pieces of fake Indian currency notes (in short FICNs) of Rs.500/- each were recovered from the petitioner and co-accused. In view of the aforesaid materials on record and as date has been fixed for consideration of charge we are of the opinion this is not a fit case to grant bail to the petitioner.

4. The application for bail is, thus, rejected.

5. Charge be framed at the earliest and proceeded to its logical conclusion without granting unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.
