The Superintendent of Police, Purba Medinipur is represented through his learned Advocate today. Pursuant to the earlier order dated 4th January, 2021, the alleged contemner is personally present in Court today and has filed the affidavit-of-compliance through his Learned Advocate. A copy of such affidavit has already been served upon the learned Advocate for the petitioner.

After going through the said affidavit, this Court is of the view that the order dated 17th April, 2019 passed in W.P.A. No.8749 of 2018 has been complied with.

Accordingly, the Rule is discharged and the contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
