Petitioner has approached this Court being 08.05.2025 Court No. 35 Item No.173 Rakib aggrieved by the inaction of the officers of the Anandapur Police Station.

Record reflects that last of the representation which was received by the concerned police station is on 08.12.2023.

As none appears on behalf of the State, Ms.

Indumouli Banerjee, learned advocate who ordinarily appears for the State is directed to represent the State. Her appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having regard to the fact that the last of the representation is of December, 2023 and more than 17 months have passed since then, I direct that in case a fresh representation is made before the Officer-in-Charge, Anandapur Police Station, the concerned police station will conduct an enquiry and address the inconveniences faced by the petitioner.

In case the petitioner is aggrieved by the act and actions of Anandapur Police Station petitioner he would approach the Jurisdictional Magistrate under the relevant provisions of law.

The concerned Jurisdictional Magistrate would assess as to whether any cognizable or non-cognizable offence having been made out and consequently take steps as he deems fit and proper. With the aforesaid observations WPA 1117 of 2024 is disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
