Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner was falsely implicated. He highlights the delay in lodgment of the first information report. Learned Advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the statements recorded under Sections 161 and 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure. He submits that the petitioner is named in both the statements. Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner as transpiring from the statements recorded under Sections 161 and 164 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
