Mr. Subhas Chandra Atha Ms. Payel Paramanik ..for the petitioner Mr. Soumik Ganguly ..for the Municipality By a letter dated July 25, 2022, the petitioner was asked to attend a hearing scheduled on August 3, 2022, at 3.30 p.m. before the Chairman Bankura Municipality regarding construction of an alleged unauthorised iron gate "covering the entrance road at Kenduadihi within ward no.24 under Bankura Municipality".

The said letter dated July 25, 2022 has been challenged in this writ petition.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that during pendency of this writ petition a demolition order in respect of the said iron gate has been passed by Bankura Municipality.

In that view of the matter, nothing remains to be decided in this writ petition.

The petitioner will be at liberty to challenge the demolition order in accordance with law.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the demolition order passed by the Municipality has not been served upon the petitioner. In that view of the matter, the Municipality is directed to provide the petitioner with a copy of the demolition order, if it has not already been provided. Accordingly, WPA 1194 of 2023 is disposed of. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the learned advocates for the parties on usual undertakings.
